About DPF Revive
DPF Revive provides specialist DPF cleaning from Dragon Performance Centre, 172 Dunkeld Road, Perth PH1 3AA.
You can contact us on 0800 099 6669 or info@dpf-revive.co.uk.
These terms apply to website enquiries, quotes, bookings and DPF cleaning services unless we agree something different in writing.
What we do
DPF Revive provides cleaning for removed diesel particulate filter units. Our service is focused on cleaning the DPF unit itself.
- Specialist DPF cleaning only.
- Bring-in, send-in, courier and collection options where available.
- Support for drivers, garages, trade customers and fleet customers.
- Cleaning of removed DPF units at or through our Perth centre.
What we do not do
To avoid confusion, DPF Revive is not a vehicle repair or diagnostics service.
- We do not diagnose vehicle faults or read fault codes.
- We do not carry out mechanical repairs, removal or refitting.
- We do not guarantee that cleaning will fix warning lights, limp mode, regeneration faults or underlying vehicle issues.
- We do not provide DPF delete, bypass or emissions defeat services.
Quotes and bookings
Quotes are based on the information you provide. If the DPF, vehicle details, location, urgency or logistics change, the quote may also change.
A booking is confirmed only when we accept it and agree the service route with you.
- Prices are given in pounds sterling.
- We will tell you about collection, delivery, courier or extra charges before you commit.
- Unless a quote says otherwise, it is valid for 14 days.
- Availability and turnaround estimates are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for making sure the DPF is ready for cleaning and that the information you provide is accurate.
- The DPF must be removed safely and legally by you, your garage or your chosen technician.
- You are responsible for diagnosis, removal, refitting, sensors, fault causes and vehicle roadworthiness.
- The vehicle must remain compliant with applicable roadworthiness and emissions requirements.
- The DPF should be clearly labelled and packaged safely if it is sent by courier.
- You should tell us about visible damage, contamination, previous repair attempts or any special handling requirements.
Cleaning suitability and results
DPF cleaning can help restore flow where a unit is suitable for cleaning, but results depend on the condition of the DPF and the reason it became blocked.
Cleaning cannot repair every DPF problem.
- A cracked, melted, collapsed, heavily oil-contaminated, chemically damaged or tampered DPF may not be recoverable.
- If the underlying vehicle fault is not fixed, the DPF may block again after refitting.
- We may decline or stop work if a unit appears unsafe, unsuitable or impractical to clean.
- Any outcome statements relate to the DPF cleaning process only, not the complete vehicle.
Drop-off, courier, collection and return
We will agree the practical route for getting the DPF to and from us before the service starts.
- If you use your own courier, you are responsible for packaging, insurance and delivery to us.
- If we help arrange collection or return, courier or delivery terms may also apply.
- Please remove loose fittings or unrelated parts unless we ask for them.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, traffic, weather, incorrect addresses or events outside our reasonable control.
Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed with your quote or booking. Unless we agree a trade account or other written terms, payment is due before the cleaned DPF is released or returned.
- Trade or fleet account terms must be agreed in writing.
- We may pause return, collection or further work if payment is overdue.
- You are responsible for agreed courier, collection, return or storage charges.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or move a booking, contact us as soon as possible.
If you are a consumer and book at a distance, you may have a 14 day cancellation right. If you ask us to start the service during that period, you agree that you may need to pay reasonable costs for work already carried out. If the service is fully completed with your agreement during that period, your cancellation right may end.
- To cancel, email info@dpf-revive.co.uk or call 0800 099 6669.
- Reasonable charges may apply where work, collection, courier, cleaning, return or booked time has already started.
- Business, trade and fleet cancellations may be handled under any written account terms agreed with us.
Cancellation wording
If you are a consumer and want to cancel under a cancellation right, you can email us using the wording below. You do not have to use these exact words, but they help us identify the booking.
- I/we hereby give notice that I/we cancel my/our contract for DPF cleaning services.
- Include your name, address, phone number, email address and booking date.
- Include the DPF, vehicle or collection details if you have them.
- Send it to info@dpf-revive.co.uk.
Complaints and problems
If something is not right, please contact us first so we can look into it.
Tell us your name, contact details, DPF or vehicle details, what happened and what you would like us to do. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
We are not responsible for pre-existing DPF defects, vehicle faults, failed diagnosis, incorrect removal or refitting, or losses caused by an underlying vehicle problem returning after cleaning.
- For consumers, your statutory rights are not affected.
- For business, trade and fleet customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill or indirect losses unless the law says otherwise.
- For business, trade and fleet customers, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time of your confirmed booking will usually apply to that booking unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
